Preventing and solving problems
Follow the instructions for safe charging, use and storage to avoid problems.
If the voice recorder is not working properly, for example because of errors in the memory or because files have not been deleted correctly, you can usually solve the problems by formatting the voice recorder. Please note that this will permanently erase all files on the voice recorder. For information on formatting a USB device, go to www.Google.com and search for 'Format USB flash drive' followed by your operating system 'Windows' or 'MAC'. You can leave the default file system settings (FAT32 or exFAT).
